A real cat keeps getting refused
Get closer or zoom out so the face and some body are in frame, find more light, and avoid shooting through glass. Dark cats at night are genuinely hard. Nothing is spent on a refusal.
Fix it yourself
The camera is black
Check the camera permission in your phone's settings for PoCats, then close and reopen the app. If it stays black, restart the phone once before emailing.
My map is empty
Your map fills with cats you catch. Community sightings only appear where other players have been recently, and they disappear after 72 hours, so a quiet map is normal early on.
I am out of snack cans
One comes back every four hours, up to a bag of eight. Daily rewards pay cans, yarn balls open for them, and coins trade for up to three a day in the shop.
I paid and did not get it
Reopen the app first, since purchases usually restore on their own. If not, email us with the store receipt and we will sort it out.
It is asking me to sign in
You do not need to. Tap Continue as guest and you are playing at once, with no email asked for and no password anywhere in PoCats. Continue with Google, or Sign in with Apple on iPhone, is optional: it keeps your album if you change phones.
I want my cards on a new phone
Sign in with Google, or with Apple on iPhone, before you switch. A guest album lives only on the phone it was made on.
Delete your account
In the app: Settings, then Delete account. It removes your account and the data attached to it.
By email: write to hello@vegadigital.app from the address you signed up with and say you want the account deleted.
Report a problem
Tell us the phone and its iOS or Android version, what you tapped, and what happened instead. A screenshot or a short screen recording is worth a page of description.
Report a welfare concern
If a cat you have met looks injured, trapped or in danger, please contact a local vet or animal rescue rather than intervening yourself. In the UK that is the RSPCA or Cats Protection, in the US a local shelter or animal control, and in most countries a search for "animal rescue" and your town will find the right number faster than we can.
If a cat is simply thin, scruffy or unfamiliar, it is often an owned cat having an ordinary day. This piece explains how to tell the difference.
